In times when aggressive foreign challengers set arenas in China, many Cangzhou righteous persons came up to defeat them, which greatly inspirited Chinese people: In the 15th year of Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1676), Ding Fa-Xiang defeated both of the Russian warriors who had set arena in Beijing; In the 1st year of Xuantong(1909), Huo Yuan-Jia scared the British giant away in Shanghai, who had set the arena and contemned Chinese as ' the ill of East Asia'; and in 1910, Huo won over ten master-hands led by the chairman of Judo Oganization from Japan; In the 7th year of Minguo (1918), Wang Zi-Ping vanquished Kontare, an aggressive Russain warrior, at Five-colour-soil artena in Beijing; In the 14th year of Minguo (1925), Tong Zhong-yi frustrated the Japan judo master on Hongkou arena in Shanghai...
